Being Meek Have Many Spiritual Blessings
Meekness of heart is pleasing before God. Meek people are like doves before God in their behavior. So the meek have the protection. God gives justice to each of them. Moses was insulted, despised, but he didn’t talk back, take revenge or retaliate. That is the attitude of the meek. You will accuse the meek, you will say bad things but they will bless you even more. They will give themselves more to God.
If you are meek, the Lord will lift you up. When you are not meek, you are cruel and you acknowledge everything about yourself, God will bring you down. If you are vindictive, if you speak too badly to your neighbor, God will bring you down one day. So we need meekness. That’s the Lord’s attitude.
When you are meek, God is in you and He gives direction to you especially in times of judgment.
Psalms 25:9 tells us, “The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach His way.”
The Lord will teach the meek His way and guide them to judgment in the time of judgment. They will be guided. The Lord Judges the whole earth so sometimes there is a disaster, which is judgment.
When you are meek, the Lord will remove you from the judgments He gives to this world. When you are meek, he will teach you His way. So the meek have many spiritual blessings.
One day, I saw a vision, which told me “If you look for me son, you will find me on my way.” So look for the Lord, He is there. Then you will have a vision, you will dream. The Lord is there, comforting you. You will have many spiritual blessings; your heart and your soul will be overjoyed.
Do you know, that if we want to go to heaven, we must be filled with the fruits of the Spirit? And do you know that a fruit of the spirit is meekness?
When you are meek, you humble yourself. When you are meek, the other fruits of the spirit are already in your heart. That includes the pursuit of peace, joy, love, kindness, goodness, honesty.
When you are meek, you are humble. You are not boastful inside. What does the Lord say when you exalt yourself? Whoever exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
So if you want the blessing of being close to the Lord and being exalted in His presence, do not exalt yourselves, the Lord should be the one exalted.
