Empowering Youth for Positive Change: Keeper’s Club International’s Participation in the Global Youth Summit
The Keepers Club International Northern Mindanao Chapter recently made a significant mark in the realm of youth empowerment by participating in the Global Youth Summit held in Cagayan de Oro City. Attended by hundreds of young people and aspiring leaders from different institutions and youth organizations, the summit has been an effective platform for discussing pressing issues affecting today’s youth, which covered a broad range of topics, including youth employment and empowerment, good health and well-being, sustainable urbanization, and mobilizing the masses for positive change. Through their active involvement, the KCI Youth not only broadened their horizons but also reinforced their shared vision of being catalysts for positive change in their communities.
The summit’s diverse agenda highlighted key areas that hold immense relevance for the young generation. The issue of youth employment and empowerment, for instance, underscores the importance of equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities they need to become self-reliant and contribute to society. By engaging with experts and fellow participants in discussions on this topic, KCI Youth gained insights into innovative approaches to tackle unemployment challenges and promote self-sufficiency.

The role of the youth in nation-building cannot be overstated. The Keepers Club International, recognizing this responsibility, places great emphasis on nurturing young minds to be builders rather than destroyers of nations. By participating in the Global Youth Summit, the KCI Youth through the guidance of the Founding Chairman, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, not only expanded their knowledge and perspectives but also solidified their commitment to being drivers of progress in different communities.
