Empowering Minds, Building Bridges To A Better Tomorrow
The Keeper’s Club International-Southern NCR Chapter was once again invited by its partner school, Talon Village National High School in Las Pinas, to participate in its Brigada Pagbasa program.
Deeply motivated by the Appointed Son’s love and compassion for children, especially the disadvantaged ones, the Keepers volunteers actively and willingly collaborated with the school staff and other stakeholders in their endeavor to impart some knowledge by teaching them how to read.
During the buddy-reading time, the Keepers volunteers and other volunteers patiently guided the children as they walked them through in reading and understanding the colorful children’s books.
They firmly believe that their efforts, no matter how small, will bear a huge impact on the lives of the children, most especially that literacy is an indispensable factor for a child’s future success.
As the Appointed Son embodies and believes that the youth is the future and hope of the nation, so are the members of the Keepers Club, and that is why they are more than willing to cooperate in such noble, voluntary work in helping the children, young people, and the community at large. And by doing so, they empower young minds, making a way for them to bring their dreams into reality.
