FACING THE ‘COURT’ OF PILATE
October 24, 2024
The Senate Hearing that took place on October 23, 2024 chaired by Senator Risa Hontiveros is likened to the Biblical account of the Lord Jesus Christ being presented to the public by Pontius Pilate’s witnesses by the High Priest who were all asking for Him to be crucified.
In Pontius Pilate Hall of condemnation equivalent to the Senate Hearing yesterday, they had all the power, authority, and paid false witnesses dramatically displayed their blazing, false accusations against a man who did nothing but good, compassion, and love for humanity. Instead of seeing the good, they painted the image of Jesus Christ as a monster, an impostor, a deceiver, and a charlatan who needed to die by crucifixion.
He died on that cross with a broken heart. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But now, 2 thousand years later, we all know that the mob who cried for His blood were all wrong. Everyone in this so-called, the only Christian nation in Asia has a reverence for the crucified Christ displayed on the altar of Christian churches, worn by many a pendant hanging on their chest a crucified Christ whom they call now as Lord and Saviour.
Yesterday, in that Senate Hearing, we saw how they crucified the man with false accusations of the vilest form. Paid false accusers did their very best with a flair of drama. But never in that Senate hearing, which was supposed to protect women and children and families, did they mention the brutal, illegal, unlawful, and inhumane 16 days of hell perpetrated by a police general who was present in that hearing.
The chairwoman never mentioned the emotional, mental, and psychological trauma that until now is being suffered by hundreds of children, young people, and adults alike, the more than one hundred KOJC missionaries who were beaten with batons, kicked in the head while on the ground, tear gas that killed one missionary worker, illegal digging in JMC school basement in the guise of searching for a heartbeat, a religious Holy Ground desecrated to the max, a cathedral of worship was made into a command center forbidding worshippers to enter to celebrate their 40th Anniversary Celebration, all illegally occupied buildings, randomly checked 15-17 times just to harass residents, the terror and trauma they felt was like 16 days of hell brought by a certain police general.
This is just a minute description in words of what happened in those 16 days of hell. Not yet included here is the brutal June 10 invasion of the same forces where 5 KOJC religious compounds were brutally invaded, breaking down gates with no search warrant, but nevertheless, the law never mattered to them. In Kitbog, the invasion killed 2 IPs and a child went mentally crazy because of fear. Untold sufferings of harmless people. No law ever protected them.
Sen. Hontiveros, Chairwoman of the Committee on the Protection of Women, Children, and Families, who until this writing are still mentally, emotionally and psychologically suffering the long-term effect of the 16-day terror they experienced, never called for a Senate Hearing to condemn these illegal, unlawful acts of supposedly law enforcers whose mandate is to serve and protect.
CHR, never made a report of these blatant inhumane, gross human rights violations committed by law enforcers.
Sen. Hontiveros, justice is calling but your silence is deafening. The people are asking, are you really for the protection of ALL children, women, and families?
Demonizing and criminalizing PACQ will not cover, or erase the guilt of your biased, one- sided committee and, equally so, will not erase the guilt of General Torre and company.
Remember when you clenched your fist and pointed an accusing finger at PACQ, 3 fingers are pointing back at you. The Holy Book says in 𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 2:1, “𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑬𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑬, 𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑼 𝑨𝑹𝑬 𝑰𝑵𝑬𝑿𝑪𝑼𝑺𝑨𝑩𝑳𝑬, 𝑶 𝑴𝑨𝑵, 𝑾𝑯𝑶𝑺𝑶𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹 𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑼 𝑨𝑹𝑻 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑫𝑮𝑬𝑺𝑻: 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑾𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑬𝑰𝑵 𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑼 𝑱𝑼𝑫𝑮𝑬𝑺𝑻 𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹, 𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑼 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑫𝑬𝑴𝑵𝑬𝑺𝑻 𝑻𝑯𝒀 𝑺𝑬𝑳𝑭: 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑼 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑫𝑮𝑬𝑺𝑻 𝑫𝑶𝑬𝑻𝑯 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑨𝑴𝑬 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑺.”
