GOD’S HAND IS ALWAYS ON HIS CHOSEN ONE

October 30, 2024

Joseph landed in jail, in prison. But the hand of God was still upon him. It so happened that he had two cellmates: one was a butler and the other was a baker. Both of them had a dream. The dream that Joseph interpreted was that the baker had bread on his head that was eaten by birds. Joseph said, “You will be beheaded.” He said to the butler, “ You will be restored to your position. When you’re back to the palace, don’t forget me.”

The interpretation of the dream happened. It became a fulfillment. The baker’s head was cut off by Pharaoh and the butler was restored to his old position as a butler. But if there is something that human beings would forget, number one is their promise.

When they are on top positions, they forget you, as if they don’t know you anymore. When you meet, it’s as if they don’t know you anymore. They don’t recognize you. I’m not saying  politicians are like that, that during the campaign season, they are always visible but after they won, they don’t know you anymore. There are many politicians who are competent enough to fulfill their duties. Number one there is our President Digong, right? Have you seen the Build, Build, Build in the Philippines and where the country is now? We can be proud of the Philippines that we have today.

So, the butler forgot, but Pharaoh had a dream about the seven fat cows and seven lean cows that his soothsayer, sorcerers and the magicians could not interpret. That was when the but;er remembered Joseph as the interpreter of those dreams, because the dream came true to him as it came true to the baker.

So, he said, “ Oh, Pharaoh, nobody can interpret the dream among your soothsayers, dream interpreters, sorcerers and magicians. But I remember, I was in jail with someone there who interpreted the dream and  it came true.” He relayed the dream to Pharaoh, and Pharaoh said, “Get him. I want to know the interpretation of this dream.” So, they took Joseph out of the jail. “Ah, this is it. Oh, interpret that dream for me.”

“Oh, King, there will be seven fat years where harvest will be plentiful, and there will be seven lean years where there will be drought in the country, where there will be no food. Many people will die. What I suggest is that in the seven fat years of harvest, let us gather all the harvest. Put a silo where we can store all the goods that we have to prepare for the seven years of drought, so that we will not starve.”

Pharaoh applauded. He made Joseph the prime minister and put a big pendant on him that means: “you are second to me, implement all your plans.”

He made big silos of grains, wheat, corn, and every available food for those seven fat years, seven years of plentiful harvest. They were prepared, and then the seven years of famine came.

Everybody didn’t have food anymore. They took food from him. Everyone went to Egypt to ask for food, including the family that he left behind, his brothers who sold him to Potiphar. Maybe, those brothers did not know that Joseph now became the prime minister of Egypt.

He became secular. They were included among those who brought food there in Egypt. And it so happened, Joseph was the one providing for all these for the Pharaoh, for whoever would ask or buy.

His family arrived and he recognized his favorite brother, Benjamin. You know the story. He let him buy and for him to return, he put a golden cuff, so he could say, “ Ah, you’re a thief!” so he would return. It was there that he revealed himself. He also dreamed that the moon, the sun and the stars bowed down before him. That’s why he is called, “Joseph the Dreamer.”

What I am trying to tell you in his story is that, when the hand of God is upon you, whether they put you down or put you out, or try everything against you, the Father in Heaven will always lift you up. We have a saying in English that says, “You cannot put a good man down,” whatever scheme you may use.

So, you, traitors in the Kingdom, cannot do whatever you want to do here. You tried to enforce your carnality in the Kingdom, and when you’re found out, you didn’t want to undergo discipline. You went out of the Kingdom, destroyed my name and became like Potiphar’s wife!

It’s what we call the Potiphar’s wife syndrome, reversing the story. They came back to me, painted me as the evil one, that I am the one who is victimizing. But you are the ones who are victimizing, and then you play the victims when you go outside.

Do you think you will win? Do you think that the God in Heaven will let you win? Do you think that the God in Heaven is asleep? Do you think that the God in Heaven does not know what’s in your mind? Do you think that the God in Heaven will let you go free for what you are doing?

In the meantime, you may be winning. In the meantime, your main evil scheme may be winning, like Potiphar’s wife, when Joseph was put into jail, as if Potiphar’s wife’s evil scheme of destroying Joseph was going to win over him. No, no, no. In the long run, you will see God will put up a standard against the enemy. The God in Heaven is not asleep. He is the great judge.

Since the inception of this ministry, the devil was already planning to destroy me using people, even from the time I was powerless, from the time when nobody knew what this ministry is about. We didn’t even have the proper means, proper food, shelter, clothing and everything. The devil was already trying to destroy the ministry of the Appointed Son because he knew that God’s hand is upon me.

When He anointed me 50 years ago with that Divine anointing coming from Heaven, don’t you remember what He said in His words when there is an anointed in the midst of His people? His warning was: “ Touch not mine Anointed, do my prophets no harm.” Because when you do that, judgment is going to fall upon the earth. Judgment is going to fall from Heaven. In the time of Joseph, judgment came in favor of him. This is how God works.
