On this day in 1950, a child was born in the quiet foothills of Mt. Apo. There was no fanfare, no grand announcement. It was just a birth like any other, except this one would change the course of countless lives. The Almighty Father had chosen a vessel, a mission, a voice that would one day echo across the world.
That child would become Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy—the living, breathing expression of obedience.
He came not to chase the spotlight nor seek applause. He walked the narrow road that few dare to take. Through the valleys of testing. Through fire. Through pain. And like refined gold, he emerged victorious.
The world would not make it easy for him. They pointed fingers. They threw stones, not with their hands, but with their words—sharp and heavy. They called him many names, but the name Heaven gave him never changed.
He became a sin offering not because he sinned, but because he stood in the gap for those who did. He bore the weight of shame so others could rise into righteousness. He endured humiliation. accusations, lies, persecution—he’s faced them all. But through it all, his faith never flinched. He suffered in silence, not for himself, but for souls. And still, he smiled. Still, he forgave.
He didn’t fight back with hate. He responded with love. He didn’t give in to pressure but stood stronger in the truth. He didn’t retreat but pressed forward because he knew who called him, and he knew why.
