Filipinos Nationwide join Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy in the National tree-planting activity
December 7, 2024

Making a Difference for Our Planet: A Nationwide Effort for a Greener Future

On December 7, 2024, communities across the Philippines came together to unite for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. Spearheaded by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy through the Sonshine Philippines Movement, the One Tree, One Nation tree planting activity, along with the “Kainisan, Tatag ng Bayan” initiative, successfully brought people together in a powerful response to the pressing issues of climate change and environmental degradation.

Since its inception in 2005, One Tree, One Nation has become a nationwide movement aimed at addressing the growing threats of climate change and flooding. This activity is a meaningful effort to combat these challenges by planting trees and creating a collective sense of environmental responsibility.

Through this initiative, every tree planted symbolizes not just a commitment to preserving nature, but also a step toward mitigating the adverse effects of climate change. By actively participating in these tree-planting activities, Filipinos are playing an essential role in restoring ecosystems, preventing soil erosion, and promoting sustainable living for future generations.

Together, as one united nation, we are creating a stronger, healthier, and more sustainable Philippines. The One Tree, One Nation initiative is not just about planting trees—it’s about making a lasting impact on our environment, our communities, and our future. Let’s continue to grow this mission, one tree at a time, and make tomorrow a day of hope, unity, and action!

Kalinisan, Tatag Ng Bayan: Nationwide Cleanliness Drive
December 7, 2024

A Joyful and Meaningful Day for the Cleanliness of Our Nation!

Hundreds of volunteers from the Sonshine Philippines Movement participated in the Nationwide Cleanliness Drive on December 7, 2024, at the scenic Matabungkay Beach in Lian, Batangas.

This inspiring initiative was led by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy as part of the “Kalinisan, Tatag ng Bayan” campaign, a nationwide movement promoting environmental care, unity, and social responsibility. Together, the volunteers worked hard to ensure that Matabungkay Beach remained clean, beautiful, and well-preserved for future generations.

Matabungkay Beach, a cherished destination, became the focal point of this drive, reminding everyone of the importance of protecting our beaches, marine life, and the environment. The volunteers’ collective efforts highlighted how small actions can lead to lasting change, protecting our planet and ensuring a healthier, more sustainable future for all Filipinos.

Today was a clear demonstration of community spirit and commitment to preserving nature. The event encouraged unity, environmental consciousness, and a shared responsibility for maintaining the natural beauty of our country. Through this initiative, we continue to inspire others to take part in efforts to keep our nation clean and green. Together, we can turn these meaningful actions into lasting impacts for generations to come.
