Thousands of Volunteers Unite for Nationwide Cleanliness Drive and Mangrove Planting
‘KALINISAN, TATAG NG BAYAN!’ Nationwide Cleanliness Drive Held Successfully
On November 23, 2024, thousands of volunteers—along with workers from KOJC, Keepers Club International, LGUs, and other groups—joined forces for the successful ‘KALINISAN, TATAG NG BAYAN!’ nationwide cleanliness drive and mangrove planting event. Led by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, the initiative took place across the country, bringing together people from all walks of life to make a positive impact on the environment and their communities.
The event spanned 23 locations nationwide, from Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao, where participants cleaned streets, public spaces, and coastal areas, and took part in planting mangroves to help restore natural habitats and fight the effects of climate change. It was a powerful show of unity and collective action, with everyone working together to make their communities cleaner and stronger.
This nationwide movement has been led by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy through the Sonshine Philippines Movement since 2005, with the goal of raising awareness about climate change and restoring the beauty of our environment. The success of this year’s event is a testament to how, through cooperation and dedication, we can build a more resilient and united nation.
By participating, volunteers didn’t just help clean up their surroundings—they helped reinforce the idea that a cleaner environment is the foundation of a stronger, more connected community. The initiative continues to inspire others to take responsibility for the planet and work together for a sustainable future.
Once again, the KALINISAN, TATAG NG BAYAN! drive showed that when we unite for a cause, we can truly make a difference.
