Working Together for a Greener Future

On January 4, 2025, people from all over the Philippines came together with a common goal: to care for and protect the environment. Led by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy and the Sonshine Philippines Movement, the “One Tree, One Nation” tree-planting event brought together volunteers from different areas to take real action against the country’s environmental problems.

Hundreds of volunteers joined the event, planting trees and helping restore the land. It wasn’t just about putting trees in the ground—it was about showing what can be achieved when people come together to protect nature. The teamwork and shared purpose made the day even more special, showing the power of working together to care for the Earth.

This tree-planting activity is part of a bigger movement led by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, encouraging Filipinos to take better care of the planet. Along with planting trees, volunteers also joined the “Kalinisan, Tatag ng Bayan” campaign, a cleanliness drive that aims to keep communities clean and healthy. These efforts remind everyone that even small actions can lead to big, lasting changes when done together.

Every tree planted and every piece of trash picked up helps create a cleaner, greener future. These activities serve as a reminder that protecting the environment is everyone’s job. By working together, Filipinos are making their country a better, greener place for future generations.
