Appointed Son of God
Is the Executive Pastor of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name, which he established in the year 1985.
From a small membership of 15 people, the Kingdom Nation has grown to a congregation of six million followers with satellite congregations called Kingdom Light Congregations (KLCs) in 200 cities and 2,000 cities across the globe.
The Kingdom is not a Church Organization
The Kingdom of Jesus Christ is not an organization, or a “church” as people commonly understand it. But it is the Kingdom of the Almighty Father, our Lord Jesus Christ here on earth today.
In the Kingdom Nation, the Father’s commandments are not written on tablets of stone or paper but are written in the hearts and minds of His people, where it is obeyed as law. This is in fulfillment of Malachi 6:10
Matthew 6:10 which says,
“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
As such, Pastor Apollo is not just a church leader or head of just any organization. He is the representative of the Almighty Father here on earth. He is the body in which the Father dwells. He is the Father’s audible voice, His Appointed Son.
When the Father, who is a spirit, dwells inside the body of His greatest creation, which is man, that body wherein He dwells is called a Son of God.
Pastor Apollo was the first of all of God’s fallen creation, the race of Adam, to have rejected, by repentance, by his own free will, the disobedient spirit of sin implanted inside of every man. He was also the first man to have received the new spirit of obedience to the Father’s Will, becoming the firstborn Son of the Father.
Ever since Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden when they ate of the forbidden fruit, every man, woman and child born to the human race possesses this disobedient spirit of sin when he is born. Only repentance can eject that spirit.
Repentance is the qualifying mark of every Kingdom citizen.
The Spiritual Revolution
The throwing down of the spirit of disobedience from the heart of man, and the enthronement of the spirit of obedience to the Father’s Will. The key for this revolution to happen in man is REPENTANCE.
The Financial Revolution
Which is the throwing down of the spirit of poverty, the spirit of greed and selfishness, and receiving the spirit of giving and prosperity. The key to this revolution is GIVING.
The Revolution of Excellence
Which is the eradication of the spirit of stupidity, and the enthronement of the spirit of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding inside man. The key to this is FEAR OF THE LORD.
Pastor Apollo also preaches a new revolution, which is the Revolution of Love. When imbibed in a man’s spirit, the revolution will defeat the darkness of hate, greed, selfishness, and violence that is the cause of all the chaos in the world today.
The key to this revolution happening in man is his obedience to the commandments of the Father written in Matthew 22:37-40, which says:
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
A Man Who Changes the World Around Him
When a man is genuinely changed from within by repentance, and when all three revolutions are manifested in his life, he cannot be a man who just sits by the wayside. He would be a man who would affect his environment. Everything around him would be an outward manifestation of the restored spirit within him. He would be a man who could change the world around him.
Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is the model of such a man.
With a heart full of love for suffering children, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, founded the Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. (CJFI) in the year 1998.
Coming from a life of poverty as a child in his mountain home of Tamayong, Pastor Apollo knew what going hungry at night felt like.
He had also seen the suffering of so many neglected and destitute children when he was a young evangelist, preaching in the countryside. His heart went out to these poor children and He made a promise to the Father, that if God would bless him, he would give the bulk of it to help children.
Since then, the Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. has been feeding, sheltering, clothing and sending to school thousands of children through its various projects and programs.
It has 8 state-of-the-art CJFI residential care centers in the country, countless outreaches around the world, and thousands of volunteers. It is one of the most highly respected charitable foundations in the country and is rapidly gaining recognition and respect around the world.
The ACQ-International Children’s Day
Most astounding of all of Pastor Apollo’s advocacies for children is the mind-blowing annual ACQ-International Childrens’ Day (ACQ-ICD) celebrated every April 25.
This is the birthday of Pastor Apollo himself. He has dedicated it to the poor children, declaring it as their adopted birthday. He wants poor children to experience a day full of love, a day solely made for their enjoyment, a day that they would never forget.
Pastor Apollo believes that when these children grow up, that seed of love planted in their heart will grow too and touch the lives of others in their future.
A spectacular demonstration of his love for children, ACQ-ICD happens in 55 countries around the world. It benefits thousands upon thousands of children.
It is a day of free food, free rides, free toys, free gifts – a day of make-believe centered in a Disney-like theme park called Sonshine Land. The most dazzling and biggest of which is held in The Kingdom of Jesus Christ headquarters in Davao City, Philippines.
In the year 2000, Pastor Apollo founded the Jose Maria College so that he could provide free and excellent education for children who could not go to school.
Seventy percent of the students in JMC are his scholars under his Gift of Education Program.
Advocacies that Help the Unfortunate
Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy has not turned his eyes away from other members of society who are also poor, suffering and marginalized.
He has established programs that help the physically challenged, providing them with assistive devices and livelihood opportunities.
He has programs that provide free medical and dental services, blood donation, livelihood training, and programs that help those devastated by calamity and disaster.
His ministry to the needy program is often the first-responder in ground zero areas, bringing hot meals, medicine, and basic necessities to traumatized survivors.
They responded quickly when Super typhoons Sendong, Pablo, and Yolando razed whole communities to the ground.
A Passionate Environmetalist
As early as the year 2000, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy was already responding to the need to mitigate the cause and effects of Climate Change. He was already rehabilitating a denuded strip of a mountain with pine trees and planting gardens.
In just a few years, he succeeded in reforesting the area he has named Glory Mountain. The place is recorded to have the largest concentration of pine trees in the Philippines. It has made a great impact on the environment and the community around it.
In the year 2005, he established the Sonshine Philippines Movement (SPM) which has well-delineated programs for reforestation, agri-forestry, marine and coastal resource management, solid waste management through clean-up drives, eco-tourism development, and disaster response.
SPM has been a recognized partner of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in the Philippines for many years.
A Global Multi-Media Ministry
One of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy’s mandate from the Father is to preach the gospel of the Kingdom to the whole world. The Father promised him the power to conquer the airwaves. And he has successfully done so in just a short span of time.
As early as the early 90’s he was already preaching the Word of God via national Philippine television with his 1-hour weekly TV program The Hour of Truth. This was soon followed by the 30-minute daily Powerline, which became a staple daily TV program in many homes.
In the year 2003, he launched the ACQ-Kingdom Broadcasting Network, known today as the Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI).
SMNI is a global network of TV, radio, and print that reaches the United States of America, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. It carries his flagship programs Give Us this Day, Sounds of Worship, Gospel of the Kingdom and Powerline to the whole world.
His print media, PINAS has editions in Asia, the USA, and Canada.
And Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is not stopping the forward momentum of the Kingdom Nation. He has only just begun.
He is building the largest indoor Cathedral in the world, the iconic Kingdome, which will see completion before the year 2020.
Intended to accommodate 70,000 worshippers at one time, it is the most advanced in terms of technology and would rival a five-star hotel in aesthetics and luxury.
Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is looking ahead to when the whole world will come seeking his message and looking for salvation. And that time is drawing near.
More than three decades ago, this was foretold in dreams, visions and audible voice, when the Almighty Father first called, anointed and appointed him for this great and glorious ministry of the Kingdom of God on earth today.
