Celebrating 20 Years of Unprecedented Blessings and Victories: Power Even to Raise the Dead

One of the most notable miracles of the Begotten Son during His earthly ministry was when He raised Lazarus from the dead. It was a summation of God’s authority over us, and the scope of His authority knows no limits, conquering even death.

Today, we commemorate another entrustment in a series of revelations given to the Appointed Son when he was given the ‘Power to Raise the Dead’ exactly 20 years ago on April 10, 2004.

For the carnal–minded devoid of spiritual insights, this sounds rather absurd and is often the subject of derision as they can’t fathom the essence of this revelation. But Kingdom Citizens know this takes place in the spiritual first.

The fall of our first parents separated man from God. They were disfellowshipped and never heard of Him the day they disobeyed Him. That is spiritual death.

In His sight, we are all vertically dead- breathing and walking but bereft of spiritual life. Everyone who is born in the flesh inherits the seed of disobedience, which is the serpent seed. That’s why Jesus Christ responded to one of His disciples in Luke 9:60, “ Let the dead bury their dead.”

But because of one man in the person of the Appointed Son of God, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, the great chasm that dissociated man from God’s spirit has been restored.

The Son was the first who rose from the dead.

“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” (Romans 5:19)

As man listens to the Manna of Revelations delivered by the Appointed Son, he is also raised from the dead. Only the Son has the power to revive us- the progeny of the fallen Adamic race- back to life. His words which are centered on doing the Father’s Will are powerful enough to rouse us from our spiritual stupor.

As we take heed and apply the teachings of our beloved Pastor, we become the modern Lazarus rising from our spiritual graves and living life anew in absolute obedience to the Father’s Will.
