Celebrating 20 Years of Unprecedented Blessings and Victories: The Prestige
One very important lesson that the Father had drummed into His Appointed Son during his intense spiritual training in Tamayong was the lesson of humility.
At times, it’s almost impossible to sustain an attitude of gratitude when we are beset with challenges, when we feel ignored and unloved. But the Son knew the Father did it on purpose. He wanted to see how he would react.
He once narrated, “He will put me here and treat me like a king. Then all of a sudden, He will treat me like a slave. He treats me like royalty and then all of a sudden, He will treat me like dirt, I’m nothing. Just to see my reaction.”
What was his reaction? ‘Father, if this is Your will, I’m happy. To become a doormat in Your house, if it is Your will, I’m happy. You place me in a place of prestige, power and authority, if it is Your will, Father, I’m happy. I will do my best.”
It was all part of the bigger plan. The Son never resented but on the contrary, trusted the process, remained humble and obedient wherever the Father places him- whether a life of prestige or obscurity, it doesn’t matter for as long as he is in the center of His Will.
And by faithfully abiding by His statutes, the Son’s life has been immensely blessed, so blessed that the Father exalted him with all the trappings of prestige, drawing all men unto him in fulfillment of John 12:32 that says,
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me”
In this day and age, we can see how this rosy promise is being fulfilled as dignitaries and prominent figures flock to where the Son is, seeking Divine wisdom and blessings.
It’s a puzzle to many how one man is able to flourish anything he touches, turning them into gold. It’s not by blind luck but a stroke of God’s hand blessing His Appointed Son. He had given him ‘prestige’ as an inheritance on April 11, 2004.
In times of obscurity, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy did not waver in his commitment and obedience. When he was given prestige, his reaction did not change. He stays the same, He never got drunk with power or from having an influential stature. His grateful attitude to the Father remains immutable.
Everything that we see today- thousands of hectares of land, stately Kingdom compounds and complexes, KLCs burgeoning from one city to another, the majestic 75,000-seater King Dome, the stratospheric success of SMNI, among others, are proof of the Son’s indomitable spirit and faithfulness to the Father’s words.
