Shaping the Future of the Underprivileged Children
The Children’s Joy Foundation, Incorporated (CJFI) is a non-government organization that aims to empower underprivileged children through education, health, and social services. Recently, CJFI has undergone a significant change as it welcomed its new batch of devoted officials who have vowed to transform lives and uphold its noble mission. With their leadership, the organization hopes to strengthen its role as a key partner in the nation’s development.
To mark this momentous occasion, CJFI held its 13th Annual Convention with the theme “Honoring the Past, Treasuring the Present, Shaping the Future Together for Excellence.” The convention was a five-day event that gathered delegates from different centers across the country to celebrate CJFI’s achievements, share best practices, and plan for future goals.
The convention was packed with various activities that showcased CJFI’s commitment to excellence and innovation wherein the delegates presented their annual accomplishments and work, as well as their financial plans, highlighting the impact of their programs and services on the lives of the children. They also participated in re-orientation sessions on bookkeeping and case management, enhancing their skills and knowledge in these crucial aspects of effective organization management. Moreover, they engaged in leadership and communication training led by an esteemed speaker, and agency benchmarking where they learned from the practices of diverse agencies catering to children, youth, and adults.
The convention was not only a learning experience but also a fun and relaxing one. The delegates enjoyed a visit to the Glory Mountain and Prayer Mountain respectively, where they immersed themselves in nature and spiritual reflection. They also had a city tour, where they explored and appreciated the local sights and culture. And of course, they had a blast at the retro night party, where they played and dressed up in retro-themed games and outfits.
The convention was a huge success, thanks to the contributions of the delegates who actively participated in the event. They were awarded certificates to recognize their efforts and achievements. The convention also fostered camaraderie, appreciation, and inspiration among the CJFI family as it concluded with a renewed sense of commitment and passion for empowering underprivileged children.
