On June 17, 2018, a major, defining moment took place in the chronicles of Kingdom history. On this day, the Almighty Father revealed that He had taken the name of His Appointed Son, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, as His new Name.

This event marked a significant shift in the Appointed Son’s mission. It began a new phase in which the Father lifted and honored his name, granting it spiritual authority and dominion.

This is in fulfillment of Revelation 3:12, ‘’Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.’’

The overcomer—the one who triumphed through obedience, humility, and unwavering commitment—has been revealed. The name of the Father is now in the Son, and the Son’s name has become the Father’s New Name.

For 33 years, the Son endured mockery, rejection, and public humiliation as part of his obedience to the Father’s will. Despite the dishonor, he remained faithful. Sufferings shaped him, teaching him how to obey completely. According to the revelation, the Father declared:

“You humbled yourself for 33 years. Now, I give you a Name that can no longer be defiled—a Name above all names. My Name becomes your Name, and your Name becomes My new Name.”

From this point on, the Son’s name—Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy—is no longer just a personal name; it is identified as the new Name of the Father. That being said, it changes how the name is to be regarded: with reverence, not as a subject of mockery. For gone are the days of derision.

The Father’s declaration also came with a stern warning: dishonoring this new Name would no longer be taken lightly. The time of tolerance had ended. Speaking against the Son now amounts to blasphemy against the Spirit, which, according to Matthew 12:31–32, is an unforgivable sin:

“All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven… neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”

This marks a spiritual cut-off point. Prior to this, slander against the Son might have been forgiven. After this revelation, any willful rejection or dishonoring of his name is treated as a rejection of the Spirit of God Himself.

Further confirmation came on July 26, 2022, when the Father revealed another truth from John 5:23:

“He who honors the Son honors the Father who sent him.”

This means to reject or dishonor the Son is to reject the Father. From the Kingdom’s doctrinal perspective, the Son is now the full representation of the Father on Earth. His name carries divine authority, and reverence toward it is deemed as reverence towards the Father.
