Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy’s Massive Humanitarian Projects

Love is not just a mere concept or a feeling. Love is powerful, and it can move mountains. Love is kind, it gives hope, it inspires faith, and it shines like a bright light in the darkness. It is through love that we can experience God’s presence in our lives. The Almighty Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, is love, and where there is love, there is God.

For one man, love is the key to transforming and renewing this world. Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, the leader of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name, believes in the power of love to change lives. With the Kingdom’s seven million followers worldwide, he has dedicated his life to providing humanitarian aid to those in need across the globe.

Some may say that he is able to do this because he has wealth, but the truth is, not everyone who has wealth is willing to make a difference in the world. It is his love for humanity and his strong faith that drives him to help those who are suffering and in need.

Love is the foundation of his philanthropic efforts as much as love is the supreme law in the Kingdom nation — one culture, the culture of love.

Why do I love children? I have seen poverty during my travels all over the Philippines, and these children bear the brunt of it. I, myself, am a victim of poverty. That’s why I said, “If you bless me, Father, I will dedicate the bulk of these blessings to the children.”

Since 1985, and up to this very day, The Kingdom’s Ministry to the Poor programs have been resolutely geared towards enhancing the quality of life of all its brethren, without any discrimination based on their race, culture, or educational background.

Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. (CJFI)

Long before the establishment of the Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. (CJFI) in 1998, Pastor Apollo’s heart was already deeply moved by the plight of destitute children who suffered from undernourishment due to poverty.

From the very beginning, CJFI has been dedicated to uplifting the lives of countless disadvantaged children, helping them achieve their aspirations and become productive, responsible, and accountable members of their communities.

Today, CJFI’s reach has expanded far beyond the Philippines, spreading joy and hope to countless underprivileged children around the world. Their mission continues to inspire hope and create a brighter future for generations to come.

And that is why I have many volunteers in the whole world, who will sacrifice in raising funds, so that they could help the poor kids of the world, not only in the Philippines, but the whole world.

That is what we are doing. Every day, 365 days a year, and on my birthday, is a great bash dedicated for the adopted birthday of these children that we feed all over the world.

ACQ International Children’s Day

Since 2005, Pastor Apollo has selflessly dedicated his very own birthday as the International Children’s Day, a day where underprivileged children from different cities in the Philippines and around the world can simultaneously experience a day of unbridled joy, excitement, and happiness, complete with free food, gifts, and unforgettable memories.

April 25, Pastor Apollo’s Natal Day, has now become the adopted birthday of countless disadvantaged children across the Philippines and beyond.

Initially called the ACQ National Children’s Day, this momentous occasion has evolved into the ACQ International Children’s Day in 2017, continuing to touch the hearts and transform the lives of more and more children with each passing year.

Gift of Education

As a testament to his unwavering love and compassion for marginalized children living in abject poverty, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy donated a vast piece of land and used his own resources, time, and effort to build the Jose T. Quiboloy Sr. National High School in Barangay Tamayong – the very first in this rural community.

Furthermore, the Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. which first opened its doors to students in 2002, was also built with the same objective in mind. Over 70% of the college’s student population are beneficiaries of Pastor Apollo’s Gift of Education program, which highlights his dedication and commitment to providing education for the less privileged.

Keeper’s Club International

Empowered by his deep commitment to the welfare of the youth, Pastor Apollo founded Keepers’ Club International, which is now tirelessly working to prevent young people from succumbing to the dangers of drugs, violence, alcohol, smoking addiction, bullying, and teenage pregnancy.

The Keeper’s Club International offers free music lessons to young people around the world, recognizing their potential as the driving force of society.

In partnership with the National Youth Commission in the Philippines, the Keeper’s Club promotes patriotism, peace, prosperity, and a positive mindset among the youth who will be the next leaders of the country.

With innovative programs such as “Education on Wheels” and “Eco-Warriors Unite,” the organization strives to inspire and educate the youth, empowering them to be agents of positive change in their communities and the world.

Sonshine Philippines Movement

The Sonshine Philippines Movement, established in 2005, has a crucial goal of environmental restoration. The harsh reality of climate change demands that we become responsible ecological stewards, and SPM has actively raised awareness and organized reforestation activities and clean-up drives along highways and coastal areas.

Notably, the Glory Mountain, located at the foothills of Tamayong, Davao City, serves as Pastor Apollo’s “Exhibit A.” This once-barren wasteland was transformed into a lush pine forest through the tireless efforts of volunteers, who annually plant trees to restore the balance of biodiversity and preserve the environment for future generations.

Pastor Apollo firmly believes that when we take care of nature, it will, in turn, take care of us.

In addition, the Kingdom’s ministry to the poor extends to providing relief services to victims of calamities and disasters.

SMNI Foundation

The SMNI Foundation, in cooperation with government agencies and like-minded organizations, is at the forefront of providing immediate assistance such as hot meals, potable water, medical care, temporary shelter, and emergency supplies to affected calamity areas.

The Peoples’ Republic of China through its Embassy in the Philippines, has forged a partnership with SMNI Foundation for the rapid and organized distribution of relief and emergency assistance to victims of flood, typhoon, and even man-made disasters.

United Indigenous Peoples Heritage of the Philippines (UniPhil)

The newest frontier of the humanitarian efforts of Pastor Apollo is reaching out to more than 110 ethnolinguistic groups — the indigenous peoples who belong to the marginalized sector of the country.

In 2022, Pastor Apollo was adopted by elders of indigenous communities as “Datu Pamulingan” which means one who possesses a discerning spirit and a divine gift from God.

You are a beautiful people. I am proud to be one of you.

Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy · 2022

The United Indigenous Peoples Heritage of the Philippines or UniPhil was established with a bold mission: to recognize the rights and privileges of our IP brethren, to promote shared prosperity, and to respect their ancestral domain.

These efforts are driven by a deep desire for the healing of man, his relationship with his fellowmen, and his environment.

Pastor Apollo’s commitment to empowering indigenous communities is demonstrated through sustainable projects like road construction, the Brgy. Health Center project, medical missions, and free legal services for the B’laans in Kitbog.

Through the Oplan Read Tagging – Project Apollo 4 IPs: Apollo 1 Reading Center, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is also providing crucial educational support to tribal communities.

Among the most awaited projects of UniPhil is the IP Cultural Center of the Philippines.

We pray, “Lord, increase our faith, increase our love, and make us the extension of Your love and compassion to humanity, for salvation and for those who are in need.”

The Kingdom Ministry

There is no denying that the unadulterated preaching of the Word is what truly draws people to the Appointed Son of God. This powerful message penetrates deep into the hearts and minds of those seeking deliverance, leaving a lasting impact that cannot be ignored.

As time goes by, the growth of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ intensifies with incredible speed. Year after year, the number of Kingdom Citizens increases dramatically as more and more cities, towns, and barangays organize into Kingdom Light Congregations.

From humble beginnings in Davao City, the Kingdom’s influence has now spread throughout Mindanao, Visayas, and Luzon, and even beyond to Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and North, South, and Central America.

Thanks to modern technology, the message of the Gospel of the Kingdom can now reach every corner of the world in an instant. And with the rise of SMNI, the Kingdom’s impact is felt not just in the spiritual realm, but in the realm of balanced and truthful news as well.

It’s no wonder that today, the name of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ and SMNI is synonymous with the truth that truly matters.

United in Nation Building

It cannot be emphasized enough that Pastor Apollo’s ministry was never meant to exist solely in the spiritual realm. In fact, the establishment of the Kingdom Nation at this particular time in history is nothing short of divine intervention.

From the selection of God-appointed leaders to the unwavering battle against the ills of society such as corruption, godless ideologies like communism and terrorism, illegal drugs, and other interests that run counter to the national interest – Pastor Apollo stood strong and used his voice to awaken Filipinos to the truth.

Through the power of Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI), Pastor Apollo has been able to amplify his message of change. SMNI serves as a powerful sounding board that uplifts the good, exposes injustices, and unites people under the banner of love for God and country.

In recognition of his extensive philanthropic work and environmental initiatives through the Kingdom’s humanitarian organizations, Pastor Apollo has received numerous awards and accolades from prestigious organizations. These honors are a testament to his unwavering commitment to creating lasting change in the community, inspiring others to join in his efforts, and creating a better, sustainable future for all.

A Blessed Nation

Contemporaneous with the upholding of patriotic and national ideology is the widespread expansion of the ministry of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy on all fronts.

While naysayers said it would only last for six (6) months, the Almighty Father has sustained the upkeep of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, providing the means to become known today as the fastest-growing congregation in the world.

It is no longer traversing on foot alone, but through state-of-the-art modes of land transportation, and a fleet of aircraft has been acquired in order to speed up the Gospel of the Kingdom worldwide.

Kingdom Infrastructure has also advanced by constructing local congregation buildings in every part of the world, and in the Central Headquarters in Davao City.

The ACQ Solomonic Builders, the Kingdom’s own engineering and architectural group is ahead of the planning, design, and fabrication of the ultramodern facilities such as the:

  • ACQ Worldwide Broadcasting Studios
  • the Jose Maria College Foundation Inc. Building and the forthcoming construction of the Jose Maria Quiboloy Global Resort University (in uptown Indangan, Davao City)
  • the 3,000 seater KJC Cathedral
  • the Apollo Air Hangar
  • the ACQ College of Ministries
  • Kingdom Glory Publishing House
  • the Millennial Houses at the Covenant Mountain and Prayer Center, Garden of Eden Restored in Tamayong
  • the impressive landscape of the Glory Mountain
  • the KOJC FTMW Retreat and Prayer House at the Island Garden City of Samal, among others

This includes the worship areas, offices, residences, and dormitories of full-time missionaries who are assigned in different Kingdom departments — not to mention the significant road improvements with its professional brick fabrication equipment.

In 2012, Pastor Apollo embarked on its megastructure project — the 75,000 seating-capacity King Dome which is soon to be completed.

Despite delays due to the pandemic, the biggest Kingdom infrastructure project is progressively taking shape. Soon, the world will behold the shining jewel of the Father’s Kingdom Nation.

It is every Kingdom Citizen’s attestation of faith, love, and solid unity. For in the days where the Kingdom had nothing, the Father has already given everything. He has made all things possible. With Him nothing is impossible.

And for a man like Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy whose steps are directed and ordered by the Lord, blessed is he.

As the Father has prospered him, He also committed to being a channel of blessings to others: that even when the world is spiteful, love will always prevail.
